Adult Cricket
We are a friendly village club with Men’s teams playing in Divisions 1 and 4 of the Adams Harrison Midweek Leagues. Matches are played on Wednesday evenings. Our Women’s team are growing and played competitive fixtures in 2024.
Our cricket grounds are nestled in the heart of the village of Wendens Ambo. We have two all-weather nets and a bowling machine for practice during the season. During the winter, we use the nets at Dame Bradbury’s School in Saffron Walden.
Our club is affiliated to both Essex and Cambridge county boards.

Men's 1st XI
The first Men’s team will play in Division 1 of the Adams Harrison mid-week league in 2024.

Men's 2nd XI
Our second Men’s team will play in Division 4 for 2024.
As our teen players become strong enough to face up to more powerful bowlers, they will be introduced to adult cricket through this team. This is the future of our club!

The Women's team was formed in 2023 and played their first competitive fixtures in 2024.
